I am running the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon to support ‘Railway Children India’

The Railway Children India is creating a world where no child ever has to live on the streets. With this vision, they are working at 9 railway stations in 7 states, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Odisha, Bihar, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, and Jharkhand to protect vulnerable children. They protect 7000 children directly and 2000 children through capacity building of railway staff annually. For their project the child comes first, these children are away from their families and at risk on the railway platforms. Their outreach teams work 24*7 at the railway platforms to identify and protect children arriving alone and at risk of exploitation, trafficking, abuse, and even death.

My appeal to you all is to join me in support of ‘Railway Children India’ by making a contribution to this cause. Even if you don’t decide to support them financially, I appeal to you to please pay them a visit, it may change your and a child's life!!!
