MY APPEAL

I am running a marathon for Kamalini (Educational and Development initiatives, EDI), an organisation that works towards the upliftment of underprivileged girls and women through education and important skills, which has given so much meaning and joy to my life since 2018.

I have volunteered and have been involved with it since then, and those of you who have known me, this was where I disappeared almost every Saturday.

Educational & Development Initiatives (EDI) fosters ideals of service, leadership, advancement of learning, and relief for the poor. The principal project of EDI is the Kamalini Vocational Training centre for women on Sohna Road in Haryana, where needy women gain livelihood skills to support themselves and their families.

ABOUT ME

Being a research scholar whose work is on educational studies of marginalised sections of the society, I have learnt so much in interacting with the bright young girls whose zeal for improving their knowledge has always made me more interested and sparked enthusiasm to the work I am pursuing.
